Whewwww......

We can all breathe a little easier this weekend. Adam finished his bar exam and will be a normal father and husband for EVER more!! YIPPEEEE-Thank you GOD!!! I took the day off Friday to hang out with my two favorite boys in the whole world. We had a ball! We went to the Japanese Steakhouse and Anderson SCREAMED when the chef lit up the grill with fire...but then just watched in awe as he continued to cook. He was perfect! :) We had to head home because the tornado sirens were going off and I am a bad weather freak, scared to death of it!

Today, the boys and I have been shopping and again Anderson has been wonderful! We were looking for Anderson some shoes, but his feet are too fat for the ones at Target :) He also curls up his toes too much to get a shoe on him. We went and had him fitted for shoes and as soon as the lady put the shoes on him, he screamed BLOODY MURDER, and I took it off and silence!-ha!

Tomorrow, Anderson's grandparents are coming up (Adam's parents) so that should be a fun outing day! Tomorrow the weatherman says might bring snow-ha!

Today, my sweet, big boy is 10 months old! The time is flying by! One year old is just around the corner and I KNOW I will cry! This month my love, you have gotten your top two teeth and have started scooting around on your bottom (not crawling yet) but able to turn around and around, drinking from a sippie cup, holding your bottle yourself, walking supported and even said "Nana" (which I was SOOOO jealous of-until you started calling everything Nana!) You are our heart and soul and you complete us! You are our LOVE- forever and ever!

Now, in need of prayers...Adam is taking his Alabama Bar Exam tomorrow through Wednesday and he is nervous, but I am nervous too! I KNOW that he will pass, because I have faith in the LORD above! We just need your prayers for him to have a "calmness" during his exam and to pass with flying colors! I know that God will be with him during every step of the way.

Baby Bumble Bee

"I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee, won't my momma be so proud of me, I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee-OUCH! That bumble bee stung me mommie"! No, you don't have to check the web address, and no I'm not crazy, this is a song that Anderson LOVES! Mimi(my step mother) taught him this song. Adam thinks it is the dumbest song ever, Anderson on the other hand will stop screaming and listen and laugh and laugh and laugh at this silly song.

This young man likes to have his hair brushed...well he also likes to put the brush in his mouth as well. His hair is really coming in good now, for months 2-7 he was BALD. At times it looks red, blonde, but I really think it's gonna be brown. Darn it, I thought he was gonna have something of mine, besides my eyes. ;)

The other day at Walmart, Anderson and I were shopping and this lady behind us in the checkout line asked, " don't you have any help, and boy he must look just like his father, cause he looks nothing like you" I wanted to shoot her, 1. why are you asking about our business and 2. even though Anderson does look alot like Adam, I get SO tired of hearing it, I mean come on people, he IS made up of both of us, just humor me a little please.

Did I mention, this big boy is using a sippie cup reguarly? HE is! He can't exactly tilt it back by himself, but we are making such strides.

Also, who is your favorite American Idol contestant? Mine is the girl with the tatoos and the black guy with the cool hair. But the girl with the annoying laugh is killing me, so glad she was voted off tonight, did you see her face, total shock and all look at me ish! Why am I so mean...

Valentine's Day and other ramblings...

You'll have to excuse this post for having no pictures, but our computer has a virus and I'm at work and I didn't bring my camera...and yada yada yada....

I woke up Valentine morning to receive a gift card from here from Anderson and Adam! I was so excited! I also gave Adam the same gift certificate, because he will be taking the Bar Exam next Monday- Wednesday and will need to unwind SO much after that. I will be getting the massage and pedicure:) When it gets warm enough for my little toesies to show in some sandals.

I'm sooo ready for Spring and more importantly warm weather, cause that means Summer is near. I can't wait to be off with Anderson!

Please say a prayer that Adam will pass his bar. He's worked so hard, almost 5 long years of studying and working. Anderson and I will be rooting for him from home, "GO Daddy GO"!!

A Good Day

While Adam is pulling his hair out studying for his bar exam, Anderson and I had a perfectly wonderful day! First, he slept ALL night long, from 7:30p.m.-5:45a.m. YIPPPEEE!! After Adam left for his bar review class, Anderson and I got up and enjoyed a perfectly wonderful morning sitting outside, listening to the birds.

Please excuse my absence of make up, we were relaxing today!

Then, we went to Walmart and bought groceries and some Valentine's Day gifts! :) We had lunch with Adam and came home to ride on Anderson's car around the block. Then we hung out in the backyard on a blanket, enjoying nature.

Calling all domestic divas...

Yay! You're here! I need help coming up with a theme for Anderson's 1st birthday party. It's in April and I'm stumped! Any and all ideas would be appreciated.

9 months stats

This young man went to the doctor yesterday for his 9 month check up and we were told he was "strong willed" because he screamed bloody murder while she checked him out. Later, the doc added, "it will help him later down the road though". Adam pointed in my direction!?! She asked if he was holding his own bottle and Adam replied "no". We thought we should start working with him... and ta-da -he is able to hold it. I wonder how long he's been able to do it? The doc also suggested he should be moved to his room, and Adam agreed, I wasn't so ready with an answer...

Anderson's stats were:

Height: 29 and one half inches (90 percentile) YIPPEEE

Weight: 19 lbs, 7 oz.(35 percentile)

Head: 19 inches (100+percentile) ya'll he's just too smart!!;)

He can eat most any soft table food because he has 4 teeth, but I'm a little scared of some foods because I think he might choke. Yes, I'm one of those mommas.

Today, Anderson had Annabelle and Gus stuck in the laundry room- HILARIOUS!!
