Hello friends! We are finally back from our 2 week long vacation to Disney and Alabama and are SOOOOO glad to be home. We are tired and recovering from our 13 hour trip yesterday.
Disney was wonderful!
And we LOVED every minute of it!!

Are you getting tired of my Disney World posts?! ;) I'm sorry...I'm just too excited about going and Anderson seeing it for the first time! In fact, I told Adam that I would probably cry when I saw his face when he saw Cinderella's Castle and hopefully how excited he will be! Oh the shear joy of all of it!
We've are continuing to get ready and in order. The dogs are all washed up...much to their dislike.
Anderson has some new books (that we got at Goodwill for CHEAP) for the trip and I'm not showing him all of them. I'm gonna keep them until we are waiting in line and he's getting really restless!
We also have been practicing for the breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and Friends at the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom...see it here.
Anderson will LOVE that and so will we!
We are staying here. I LOVE staying on Disney property, because you can go to the parks an hour early and get to ride some things that would normally be so crowded. And the transportation is so easy and you don't have to do anything.
It's been a while since Adam and I have been to Disney World...in fact was 2004 and we looked like this. (This is my MIL Tami, me, Adam, My SIL Kelly and BIL Anthony.)

We had a really busy weekend! We had Becca's baptism(our neighbors across the street). That's Becca, in her beautiful white dress. All of the children were really dressed up in white outfits. Those are her Godparents holding her and her parents in front of her. 
She is 2 and beautiful! 
They are a very sweet family. They are Mexican and are Catholic. ( I loved this statue of Jesus...a good reminder for all that was done so that can be forgiven of our sins)
I know NOTHING about Catholicism and it was very interesting and sweet experience. I felt very honored to have been invited to share in such an important experience in her life!
First of all, the WHOLE baptism was in Spanish and we understood maybe 3 to 4 words...thank you high school Spanish! But it was a very different experience for me...cause I was raised Baptist.
At the baptism, Anderson was in rare form. :) He first was trying to run around. Adam took him outside. Then, he cried to come back in. Then he started signing The New Kids on the Block " Oh Oh Oh OH Oh...The Right Stuff" LOUDLY! I couldn't help but laugh! ;) Then he said "Becca's church...Hola" cause they are Mexican. Embarrassing...
Saturday night, they had a huge baptism party for Becca at a Mexican Restaurant and it was very good and authentic. The kiddos had a great time running around like wild Indians!
I'm sure a lot of you know that we are going to Disney World 1 week from today! So excited! My friend Hillary Dunham has a business called Mint Julep Monograms and made Anderson this beautiful outfit for our first day there.

We have had a pretty good day. We went to the mall and I tried to let Anderson play on the playground and he would have none of it. He wanted to go and look at the "toy machine" instead(that's those crappy toy machines that have the big claws that reach in and grab something...but you can never get anything).
If you are my friend on facebook, you probably read that this morning Anderson and I were walking and we walked by a house with an LSU flag. The owner of the house was standing outside and Anderson told him "Boo LSU...ROLL TIDE". The guy said "wow...I wasn't expecting that one, he got me" Ha! I seriously laughed so hard! We've been training him well.hehe!!
I was watering our flowers today and noticed that the lantana could seriously cover Anderson up...it's that BIG!!
I LOVE lantana, it reminds me of the beach. There used to be wild lantana that was HUGE right beside my grandparent's beach house in Panama City,FL.
Thank you Amy and Kelly for your tips yesterday on how to keep cool at Disney World. I have gotten a little cool mist fan like you suggested Amy. I am on the look out for those little froggy cool things in the sporting good stores.
Now...I need your help...everybody's help PLEASE! Help me think of ways to keep Anderson busy while we wait in lines for rides.
And anybody know where I can find those little fans that clip onto their strollers and blow on the babies??
10 days until Disney!!!!!!!! We've been watching the Disney Planning DVD this morning...guess who's hooked!

Not going on much today. 
We ran to Walmart and got an egg crate for our new mattress. Yea...it's hurting my back. It's a pretty hard mattress. Do you know that those things are expensive...those memory foam things that go over the mattress. Yea...so we just stuck with a good old fashioned egg crate and hopefully that'll do the trick. It's hard running after a 2 year when your back hurts ;)
We also ran to T.J. Maxx. Which is one of my favorite stores of all time! They have such good prices. We got three new BIG books for $13.
Yea...I like the Goodwill prices better too..oh well!
But Anderson got this cool animals book that will keep him busy for hours. 
Oh how he loves animals!!
And oh how he LOVES to do "handstands"(as he refers to them) on his books.
Handstands are especially fun when he's supposed to be going to sleep. 
He'll say "Momma...handstand" wanting me to do one. It's hard not to laugh!! :)
Only 11 days until Disney and the heat...but I am getting armed. I am buying shorts and skirts to wear. Cause, I think it's gonna be real hot....like Africa hot!

We just can't stay out of the water here! 
It's TOO HOT! It's 100 degrees today and we've had NO rain since May. So, we seek cool activities outside, like Hawaiian Falls(our local waterpark).
Anderson LOVES the water fountains!
It's his favorite thing to do there. I have to admit...I took too many pictures. But, hey...it's never enough right?!
We even packed sandwiches
(I'm out of my Chick-fil-A everyday phase) it got really expensive!!

Hello friends!
We truly had a fun weekend! Our sweet neighbors across the street had their son's 3rd birthday party. Anderson truly LOVED the party! It was a swimming party and of course...those are always fun! Any excuse to get wet. :) 
Castin(Anderson's friend) got this cool John Deere gator that goes about 4 miles per hour. Anderson rode once, but wanted "OFF"! I was secretly glad! :)
They had the BIGGEST birthday cake I have ever seen. It was a whole sheet cake plus 30 cupcakes around the edge of the cake. I really should have taken a picture...that thing was HUGE! And of course, Anderson and I really enjoyed our cupcakes(can't you see our blue teeth and his blue face). 
Yesterday, for Father's Day we went to eat at a BBQ place here and it was really good! My two sweet boys, dressed alike(Adam was embarrassed;) Anderson wouldn't look at me for the life of him. 
Only 13 more days until Disney!! Woo-hoo!!
