Argghhh- so scary!

Seriously, I had to check the calendar to make sure the date was 2009 and not 1809! Pirates!!! You've read about the Somalian pirates that have taken the American cargo ship the Maersk Alabama hostage. What in the world is going on over there??!! These are the pirates?!They don't even look like pirates, I expected them to at least have a wooden leg, or an eye patch or a parrot on their shoulder, they disappoint me! But, they are are violent pirates, they have taken the captain of the American cargo ship hostage and the U.S. Navy is off the coast of Africa just waiting...

Did you know that the U.S. has not seen an attack on sailors in over 200 years!

Countdown...

This young man was trying to get his spoon(his new favorite toy) and almost crawled-gasp! See! I know, I know, he's a little late crawling.

I for one, think that he is going to skip crawling, who has time for such trival stuff, and go straight to walking anyway.

Adam took Anderson out for a walk in his baby back pack! Do you have one of these? So fun! Anderson loved it, he kept slapping Adam on the neck and squealing! I was cooking supper while my boys were out, yet another gasp-ha!

Only 14 days until Anderson's first birthday!

Only 2 more days before our Spring Break!

Only 4 more days until Easter!

Only 45 more days until I get off of work for the Summer and get to be with Anderson everyday, all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easter Week and other ramblings...

Easter is coming up this Sunday! We are excited for two reasons(well alot of reasons) but that first, and foremost Jesus died for our sins and loves us NO MATTER WHAT! What a WONDERFUL God and Jesus! The other is that we are going on our Spring Break as a family next week!! Anderson has an adorable Easter smocked outfit with bunnies on it(that I bought at a consignment sale for only $14 dollars). The outfit in the pic below with the cupcake on it is Anderson's 1st birthday outfit too! We are going to hunt Easter eggs at my momma's house on Saturday. She is SOOO excited about Anderson's first egg hunt. I know, I know, I've already told her, he has NO interest whatsoever in hunting eggs, heck, he can't even walk and the eggs WILL go into his mouth. But whatever makes her happy! My momma blogs too and I almost cried when I read the last part of her blog, oh I LOVE this woman! We are leaving Sunday for Atlanta to go to here, here and here! We are soo thrilled, this is our first family vacation with Anderson!

This young man will be 1 year old in 15 days and counting, oh time PLEASE slow down!!! Anderson's party is on Saturday and I CANNOT wait! So super excited! Thank you all for your wonderful suggestions, all are being implemented soon! Love ya'll and Happy Easter!!

Stuck and out of ideas

Anderson's 1st birthday party is on April 18 (his real birthday is the 22nd). We are doing a circus theme. We have a great cake that my friend and co-worker Laura is doing. The cake is two tiered and looks like a big top! It's sooo cute! The invitations have been sent out and they are cute too, they are from vista print and were CHEAP!! Yay for frugal things!! We bought red and blue plates with blue napkins yesterday and yellow cups. We are having cotton candy, hotdogs, animal crackers, and popcorn. What else can you think of! I'm STUCK and out of ideas? Help???!!!!!
