Day 4 and 5 at Disney!

Hello friends!

I hate to leave things unfinished and I had not posted all of the Disney pictures yet. So, I'm posting our day at Hollywood Studios and the last day at Magic Kingdom. So fun! I'm already plotting and planning when our next trip will be to Disney World...so sad! What an addict! I guess it's better to be addicted to Disney than anything else! Ha!I wasn't sure if Anderson would even care one thing about meeting characters. Boy, was I wrong....he loved them!This cracked me up so much. We didn't know how much A loved Winnie the Pooh until we rode the ride at Magic Kingdom, but he is in LOVE! He kept asking Winnie the Pooh "what's in your door"? So, Winnie and Anderson knocked on the door and kept trying to open it. Anderson LOVED that so much!!We had breakfast at Chef Mickey's. I HIGHLY recommend this...it was SO much fun!! One day my dream is to stay at the Contemporary Resort...so nice!!Last year, I took this picture of A by this wooden Indian in Frontier Land and think he's grown quite a bit since then. I will take one every time we go(hopefully, every year:) and one day he will tower over this guy!
At Magic Kingdom, we took a little break from the crowds at Tom Sawyer's Island and explored the cave and let the kiddos play on the playground there. They loved it!
Had to add this picture in...look at Adam's face on Splash Mountain! Haha!!Did we have a magical time? The answer will always be YES!!!

State Fair of Texas and Gami

Hello friends!

Gami(Adam's mom) came to town! We have had a really good time. The first thing we did was try out the State Fair of Texas. Who doesn't love fried smores and fried pumpkin pie and corny dogs? They were delicious...especially the corny dogs...so greasy and good!! If you are from Dothan and are used to eating The Corn dog Man's corn dogs...they totally smoke his! :)While eating corny dogs, Anderson pointed to a lady and said "she has a baby in her tummy". I looked at her and said "bud, she does not...don't say things like that" But the lady came over and told us, actually she did! Phhhewwww...I felt better! She liked A so much, she gave us a free corndog to take home. Too bad we left it in the car :(

Anderson felt like we were at Disney World again and wanted to ride ALL of the rides. And of course, Anderson remembered the petting zoo from last year. So, we HAD to go see the animals and feed the animals!We then visited a little farm experience for kids. The kids had to feed the pretend animals corn, and plant crops and pick out the veggies that he had planted and then get on his tractor and plow the fields. And finally, he took his crops to market and the lady paid him for his hard work (with paper money) and then we went into the general store for him to spend his money on some animal cookies. Wal-mart was definitely was a sponsor...no saving that hard earned money for a rainy day...no sir...go spend it! Ha!! But, overall, I thought it was a really good learning experience for him. Adam and Anderson went in the mirrored fun house and down the curvy slide-fun,fun!!We had a wonderful time with you Gami...come back soon!

Pumpkin Patch

Hello friends!

This weekend, Gami(Adam's mom) has been here and we are having a blast! But, I didn't want to neglect the pictures from the pumpkin patch last weekend.We are getting geared up for Halloween. Anderson is dressing up as a Zoo Keeper and Adam and I are the animals. Ha!

Last Friday, we headed over to the pumpkin patch to make our annual pictures :)

Hello friends,

We are blue this morning. Mom and Bob's dog, Emma passed away last night. She was the sweetest dog in the world. Happy, full of love and never wavering in her affection for us.So long-we will miss you sweet girl!

Disney World-Day 3

Hello friends! It's just so hard picking and choosing pictures to put on here. Note to self: I also need to do one of those Snapfish photo books.

On Day 3, we headed to Epcot for the whole day. We rode the Nemo ride 3 times and probably stayed in the aquarium a total of 2 hours.
Thank goodness, we brought Anderson's swim suit...he played for about 30 minutes in the splash fountain and loved every minute of it. We rode Test Track, which was a fast car ride. I thought Anderson would freak out...but he smiled the whole time. That was a surprise!

We visited all of the countries, which is a lot of fun for us. Anderson really liked Mexico and the boat ride there. Here we are in China and Norway!Anderson picked out an oyster in Japan and there was a pearl in the oyster, I had it set in a necklace. It was just beautiful!

We made our way over to Italy and had our picture made by this fountain that we have gotten pictures made for the last 10 years or so. Then over to France for a chocolate eclair for A and me and creme brule for Adam. YUMMY!

We had our dinner reservation at The Coral Reef ...which was EXCELLENT food and a great view of the aquarium. Somebody, just couldn't stay awake after supper...sweet boy! What a great day!

Disney World-Day 2

Hello friends!!

On Day 2 on our magical vacation we headed to Anderson's favorite, Animal Kingdom. The place is pretty amazing with so many animals...it's so much better than a zoo! What you can't see is that there is a hippo under water that he was looking at. I love that they have Rafiki's Planet, a place where you can pet animals. That was one of A's favorites of the day. :)This year, Anderson was old and tall enough to ride on Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom...boy was it scary. It scared him and me!! Then, he seemed to be scared of everything we got on. I felt so bad...bless his heart!!

Animal Kingdom has the most amazing shows..."Spirit of the Lion King" which is basically a short Broadway play...SO SUPER AWESOME! Anderson danced the whole time and we sang the whole, entire time! We love "The Lion King"! We missed the Nemo show again this year...maybe, next time.

We ventured over to Epcot that night to make our reservation at Le Cellier Steak House in Canada. BEST.MEAL.EVER!! We ate so much...it was delicious!

Of course, we did the Under the Seas ride with Nemo and they have a neat-o aquarium at the end of the ride. Anderson LOVED that!

Almost every night ended like this one. We thought it was funny to pose A in different places while he was sleeping. :)
