Disney- Day 1

Hello friends!

We just back from an amazing trip to Orlando, Florida. Seriously, the place is magical...it truly is.Our sweet friends from across the street and their two kiddos went with us and we had a really great time. The first day we went to Magic Kingdom it rained for the first 20 minutes and we were soaked...but we didn't mind, we were in Disney World! :)One of the first things we rode was Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin rideThe second was the Astro Orbiter, this was my, as well as Anderson's first time on here. It was awesome...I love this picture so much. It just shows the joy in Anderson's eyes and makes me happy.Adam liked it as well ;)The boys drove the race cars while momma took pictures. Casey and Jaycie burning up the track.

Anderson and I rode Dumbo! Last year, A screamed the whole ride because he didn't want to wear his seat belt. But, NO tears this year!! Right after we got off of Dumbo, A fell asleep in my arms! What a beautiful end to a wonderful first day!

I have like 2 gazillion pictures to post from our amazing trip to Disney World. I'm working on it and will be back soon! But, other things take priority, like taking my kiddo to the zoo today. See you soon!

4 days until the happiest place on earth

Hello friends!

In just 4 short days(I hope they feel short) we will be heading to Walt Disney World! We are so super excited to go again and this time, our friends will be joining us. They have two kids, Jaycie, who is 7 and Castin, who is 4. Anderson keeps telling me "Momma, let's go to Disney World right now"!! Haha!! Definitely my kiddo!!

We have already got our suitcase packed and shoes and shirt ready for the big day-Sunday!! Thank you Hillary at Mint Julep Monograms!! Woo-hoo!!

We are staying at Pop Century...you can see it here.
We've got all of our meals planned and reserved:
Sunday night: Liberty Tree in Magic Kingdom
Monday night: Le Cellier in Canada(in Epcot;)
Tuesday night: Coral Reef(thank you Tara for recommending this...it looks awesome and fun!)
Thursday morning: Chef Mickey's-where we will be dining with Mickey Mouse and all of his friends!

I am just beside myself with glee and so is Anderson!!See you next week with lots of pictures!!

RAIN!

Finally after only 4 months...we had RAIN! Anderson was so excited that he wanted to take his shoes off in the parking lot at Petco and walk in it and guess what...I let him! Awesome- Awesome!!

Here fishy fishy fishy

Hello friends!

Mom and Bob bought us some season passes to the Dallas World Aquarium and I'm glad that they did. We have been no less than 1,526 times. Although, I could be exaggerating just a tad...we have gone about twice a month. Which is fun for Anderson and for me.These are pygmy marmosets(which are the tiniest monkeys in the world..if you didn't know)I can also tell you all kinds of random facts about animals, cause I read lots of A's animals books to him and pick up all kinds of information myself.

We walked through the shark tunnel and nobody was in there. It was great and very peaceful too! This big guy swam over us. He was pretty amazing. He's a lagger head sea turtle and probably could live to around 400 or so. This little girl took a liking to Anderson (he liked her too)and this got me thinking. Hmmmm....might we be ready for number #2? Maybe... Now, people are going to start asking me "when are ya'll having another one"!

We finished our day at the aquarium with a slushie...cause you can't go anywhere these days without having a slushie....sheesh!Disney World in 10 days!! WOO-HOO!!!

Happiness

Hello friends!

I don't know what it is, but since this weather has started changing, it makes me truly happy and thankful for lots of things.

As a part of my Weight Watchers, I was walking Annabelle and listening to my ipod and this song by Dave Matthews came on and it just brought back so many good memories. (By the way...I'm in the 140's WOO-HOO!!!) But, still a little way to go.

It makes me super happy, when Anderson is happy. How in the world did he get so tall? Isn't he supposed to be a baby still?!

Swinging and playing in the sand.To have such sweetie pie dogs...Anna B. and GusA wonderful husband who truly loves me(bless his heart:) and our kiddo beyond belief!
And to be going to Disney World in 15 days!

Pickin' for Preemies at Billy Bob's

Hello friends!

Can I just say, that this weather has been SO wonderful! We are waking up to 58 degrees, which makes my heart happy.

On Monday, we went to our friend's charity event Pickin' for Preemies at Billy Bob's Texas(yes, the largest honky tonk in the world:) and we took Anderson. Funny seeing him in a bar, but there were other kids there....it was a charity event for the NICU! I'm not THAT kind of mom...ha!

We met Pat Green(which was awesome) if you don't know him, he sang "Wave on Wave" and "Carry On".

Anderson really put on a show and was cutting a rug. Hilarious!We are getting pretty excited...Disney World is in 3 weeks!! We simply can't wait!
